I majored in Languages and Sociocultural Studies, and Applied Linguistics. My research interest lies in the field of culture incorporation in foreign language teaching. Specifically, I am interested in the use of authentic material such as songs, videos or soap operas. In addition, I possess solid theoretical knowledge on topics such as language teaching, second language learning and acquisition, intercultural communication, discourse analysis, etc. During the last years, I have gained vast experience in practical teaching while working as a teacher of Spanish and Japanese in foreign language contexts, where I have been not only an educator but also a person involved with the personal growth of each one of my students.
